What does Courts SupaShield cover?
- Full Breakdown Cover: All repair costs inclusive of parts, labour and call out charges on major (non-portable) items.
- New for Old Replacement: In the unlikely event that we are unable to repair the product, we will replace it with an identical or similar model of equivalent purchase price and specification.
- No Customer Outlay: All repair invoices are settled directly by Courts SupaShield, so there is no need for any payment to be made by you.
- Rapid Service By Courts: If you suffer a breakdown of your product, one of our specialists will arrange a mutually agreed appointment time for our technician’s visit.
- Loan Product: In the case of major appliances, if your product cannot be repaired on site, a loan unit will be made available by Courts on request, if available.
- Food spoilage cover: We will refund food spoilage claims based on the these classification: Single door and top mount Fridges(which carry a freezer on top) to a maximum amount of BD$300 per incidence. Freezers/ Side-by-side/ French door to a maximum amount of BD$500 per incidence.
- Defects to furniture frames: This will include incidences of warpage, separation of frame components on solid wood furniture and frame breakage.
- Bending and breakage of metal components: Recliners, sleeper mechanisms, swivel rocker bases and springs.
- Lifting, peeling or scaling of finishes: Applicable to wooden furniture and leather finishes
- Separation of seams: All upholstery items are eligible.

INSTANT REPLACEMENT WARRANTY FOR SMALL ELECTRICAL ITEMS
As you enjoy the use of your small electrical appliances, we have provided added peace of mind through the Instant Replacement coverage.
WHAT IS COVERED?
Instant Replacement warranty offers cover for most small electrical items that we sell at Courts, including kitchen appliances, personal care and home electrical products for a period of up to two years, inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty.
If a covered product suffers a breakdown caused by a failure in performance during normal use, Courts will replace it with an equivalent model, up to a maximum of the original purchase price.

NO HASSLE AS WE’LL REPLACE IT
We know how important your item is to you, if you have a faulty product, please bring the item along with a copy of the original receipt and the Instant Replacement contract to your nearest Courts store. This will allow for a speedy resolution and an immediate replacement in the unlikely event that the problem cannot be corrected.

Frequently Asked Questions
The manufacturer's warranty covers the product for a limited period after which any repairs become the owner's responsability.
The Extended Warranty provides extra protection for your product for up to four years and may vary depending on the item purchased.
All mayor home appliances, electronics, mobile phones, furniture and Courts Optical eyewear (i.e. full set of frames and lenses and sunglasses) can be protected.
Specific items protected include:
- Furniture and large non-portable appliances.
- Portable appliances i.e. small kitchen domestic appliances, remote controls and home electronics.
- Portable Electronics: i.e. televisions, audio systems, game consoles, etc.
- Desktop and laptop computers and tablet devices.
- Courts Optical eyewear, i.e. full sets of prescription and non-prescription frames and lenses and sunglases only.
- Mobile phones retailing at BB$200.00 and over.
The Protection Plan covers any structural damage, electrical, mechanical breakdowns, and malfunctions caused by a defect in materials, workmanship or performance during normal use. Once your Product suffers damage or malfunction caused by one or more of the COVERED FAILURES identified, we will:
- Repair the product to a normal operating condition which includes all repair costs; unlimited repairs (if necessary)
- Provide a loaner product in the case of a major appliance/furniture, where one is available.
- Where the covered failure has led to food spoilage, we will refund up to BDS$300 for Top Mount Fridges and up to BDS$500 for Freezers, Side-by-Side & French Door Fridges per incidence.
You may purchase this Extended Warranty up to and within ninety (90) days of the date of delivery or any other period agreed by Unicomer.
If your product suffers damage or malfunctions, please review the troubleshooting guidelines/usermanual where applicable and in accordance with the manufacturer's intructions. If the above does not rectify the problem, please contact us immediately at 431-6850 for assistance.
We have every confidence that you will be satisfied with your Protection Plan, however, you can cancel your plan within 15 days of the date of purchase. You will be elegible for a 100% refund of the fee you paid under the EW contract.
Your Extended Warranty coverage will commence at the end of the manufacturer's warranty for the eligible products. The manufacturer's warranty varies by product.
The Protection Plan can be added to your Courts credit agreement or paid in one lump sum when you take the coverage our on cash.
We will replace the product with an identical, similiar or alternative model up to a maximum value of the original purchase price (including sales tax)
Yes. If you wish to continue protection, you will be required to purchase a new EW contract.
